Terra Lucida is the musical group of the Vocaci\u00f3n Humana Foundation in Buenos Aires. Directed by Alex Nante, it consists of an instrumental ensemble and a choir. Its mission is to perform ancient and contemporary pieces belonging to or inspired by music from different Eastern and Western spiritual traditions, fostering interreligious and intercultural dialogue, as well as delving into music therapy activities.<\/p>\n
Returning to the ritual aspect of music implies a collective commitment, which transcends the barriers between the so-called “professional” and the “amateur.” For this reason, Terra Lucida proposes an openness to community singing, including voices in its choir that have no formal training. <\/p>\n
La Sed<\/em> is Terra Lucidas’s first album, released by the label Virtuoso Records. It is a ritual of sound and silence composed of works by Alex Nante and including a piece by the medieval German theologian and composer Hildegard von Bingen. <\/p>\n La Sed is available on Spotify and YouTube.<\/p>\n
