Alex is the composer in residence of the Orchestre National de Lille for the seasons 2021-22 and 2022-23. Alex is a grant holder of the Herrenhaus Edenkoben. He will be staying in the Herrenhaus from August to December 2021, where he will compose a new string quartet for the JACK quartet.
Alex Nante received the “Prix de composition la Fondation Salabert 2019” for “Estrella de la mañana », ocho canciones sobre poemas de Jacobo Fijman. The piece was premiered by Makeda Monnet and the Ensemble Orchestral Contemporain conducted by Daniel Kawka, the 25th September 2019, for the « Prix de composition » of Conservatoire de Paris.
